We're officially rolling down the road now. Listening to K-State playing in the Alamo Bowl. Left tonight instead of tomorrow morning because ice and snow are supposed to start sometime overnight.

Safe travel to you both. Prayers coming your way. Better say a prayer for those Wildcats. Looking pretty sad.

Barb, This is the first time I've ever posted on a blog but I feel strongly about making a public declaration to TLB that our God hears our prayers. I'm both humbled and privileged to be one of many on your prayer team. We'll discuss some of the frightful images you've implanted into my brain once this is all "behind" you. (I hope that made you smile because it is quite out of character for me to make use of puns.) It is so encouraging that your treatment plan includes laughter, prayer, nutrition & love in addition to a top notch medical team with the knowledge to activate precision zappers. Git er done.

Hey Barb....wow, I went to the Downey Ranch site to see some nice pictures....actually was looking to steal one for our banquet tickets! Isn't it amazing how God leads us.... I will join in on your prayer team as well. Attitude is everything!! I was going to say "keep your chin up" but guess that's not what is going to be "up". I too, like Deb hope that makes you smile! You will overcome this....it is not the first battle you've had and I am confident you will conquer it! My prayers are with you! (Joe, the girls, family, friends & your medical crew) I'm sure you have livened up the hospital already....keep up the good work. Prayers to you all. Sparky
