Temperament is important, both from an operational standpoint AND an economic one. Wild cattle are tough on facilities & equipment. Moreover, the stress flighty animals are under means they don't eat (GAIN) well, get sick more often, and fail to reach their potential. While we can't do this to all the bulls, we select for good temperaments and handle cattle in such a way so there's respect on both sides of the equation. Our customers come back year after year, and this is one of the reasons. |
* Please note: The Red Angus & Red SmAN are from Kniebel Cattle Co. Info is available at www.kcattle.com.
